Last month we asked past brides and brides-to-be to complete our sustainability survey around wedding dresses. We had a great response and we wanted to share the results with you.

This is the first part of a larger and ongoing consideration and conversation for us. We see this as a positive. Educating us with your responses and generating our focus moving forward. Also, most importantly, for brides searching for their dress to have a better understanding of sustainability for weddings in the future.

QUESTION 1: Is or was the sustainability of your wedding dress important to you?

QUESTION 2: Would you increase your budget if you knew your dress was made sustainably?

QUESTION 3: Is the fabric quality of your dress as important as the design?

QUESTION 4: When searching for your dress online, have you used any words related to sustainability, fabric or ethical production?

QUESTION 5: Have you recently read articles around sustainability in the wedding industry? If so, where?

QUESTION 6: Has this or did this change your plans towards any aspect of your wedding?

QUESTION 7: Have you considered wearing a vintage piece or renting your dress?

QUESTION 8: Do you plan to after your wedding (with your dress);

Thank you to the 93 brides who took part in full and allowed us to collate these results.

A special thank you to Love My Dress for sharing our survey with their followers.
